Registrar has one million DUM and multiple accreditations.
Applicant Auction is managing a no-reserve auction of an unnamed domain registrar’s assets.
The registrar’s identity is not disclosed without signing an NDA, but the auction service confirmed the registrar is in the United States and has about one million domains under management. The package includes multiple ICANN accreditations.
Separately, buyers can bid on the registrar’s AI-related patent portfolio.
Interested bidders must register and provide proof of funds by November 6. Bidder deposits are due November 10, and the auction will be November 16-17.
Applicant Auction is well known in the domain space for handling contention set auctions in the 2012 round. It also auctioned Uniregistry’s TLDs when Frank Schilling exited the business.
